“Women and Children First” provides a combination of therapy, personalized for Women and Children’s needs in treating traumas such as PTSD, assault, childhood trauma, sexual abuse, domestic abuse, that can cause physical and psychological; stress, depression, anxiety, and moodiness in survivors.

“Women and Children First” was founded by Barbara Tom, LMT a certified licensed massage therapist with over twenty year’s experience. Barbara’s concerns and modalities are effective in helping women and children deal with such trauma from domestic abuse and the recent negative effects from the Covid-19 Pandemic. Barabara is trained in promoting a feeling of safety, healing and consent with children from infancy to 18 years of age.

Barbara Tom is fully certified in several effective modalities including; Pediatric Yoga, Therapeutic Touch Trauma Informed, QiGong and Body Talk Access. Evaluating and engaging in beneficial treatment that will alleviate some of these symptoms.
